The thing about newsletters

I fucking hate getting newsletters. But, I love reading them.

Newsletters come to my email inbox. First, I hate reading in my email client. So since I’m an inbox zero sort of guy, newsletters end up getting moved or deleted before I get around to reading them.

So instead of newsletters, here’s what I do. As an example, I follow several people and publications here on Medium. I don’t sign up for their email and I don’t read their stores on the Medium platform. I subscribe to their RSS feed so that their stories come directly into my RSS aggregator. Now I can read their stories at my convenience in my read-later app of choice.
