The Blog That Couldn’t Sit Still: Apologies for the Constant Moves

Over the years, I’ve come to realize that no single blogging platform meets all my needs perfectly. After much trial and error, I’ve decided to stick with WordPress.com for my site, ldstephens.net. It offers the essential features I need, like an RSS feed and email subscriptions, making it the best fit. I’ll continue cross-posting to Medium, as I’ve always done, to reach a wider audience.

Switching platforms so often has probably cost me a few RSS followers, but there’s not much I can do about that now. Lesson learned. BTW the RSS Feed for ldstephens is https://ldstephens.net/feed.

Instead of being obsessed with finding the perfect platform, I need to be focused on my writing. Writing is my creative outlet and a way for me to express myself, and that’s what matters.

At the end of the day, it’s not about the platform or the tools I use. It’s about the joy I derive from writing and sharing my thoughts with you all. That’s the real reason I keep blogging.
