since you have used both extensively, I would really appreciate a blog post comparing the two, identifiying the pros and cons of each service.
I’m not qualified to compare Bitwarden to the current version of 1Password, and here’s why. I always used the non-subscription standalone vault version of 1Password. In addition, I’ve rarely used 1Password at all since I started using Bitwarden a few years ago.
What I can say is that Bitwarden meets all my password requirements, including:
- Zero-knowledge encryption
- Unlimited devices + syncing
- Browser, Mobile, Desktop apps
- Unlimited vault items
- Store notes, credit cards, identities
- Bitwarden Send
- Secure password generator
- two-step login
- Free cloud hosting
- Encrypted export
Bitwarden is free for personal use with premium features for $10 per year and Family accounts are also available.
