One of my favorite uses of Alfred on Mac is launching Safari bookmarks from the Alfred window. I missed not being able to do this on my iPad so figured out a way to replicate it for the iPad.

Here’s how I do it. First I add a website to my iPad Home Screen. To do this, open up the site in Safari, and tap share. Then find the Add to Home Screen and tap it. Tap Add to add it. Now you’ll see a new icon on your Home Screen, which can be tapped to take you straight back to the site. To keep my Home Screen from getting cluttered I move all these into a folder called Bookmarks.

Adding bookmarks in this manner makes them searchable in Spotlight. Spotlight Search is a quick way of launching bookmarks, apps, and much more on the iPhone and iPad.
